In an effort to cut costs, the New Hampshire Senate has begun looking at a proposal to ship hundreds of prisoners to privately owned and operated prison facilities, as many other states have done. Some say it's an efficient way to reduce overcrowding and cut costs, while others believe the profit motive has no place in corrections.
